Shoreline is a Canadian Employer of Record (EOR) that makes it simple for companies to hire, pay, and manage Canadian talent — without setting up a local entity. We handle payroll, compliance, government remittances, and benefits administration so you can focus on building your team.
Getting equipment to Canadian hires shouldn't require cross-border shipping, currency conversion, or vendor management in a country where you don't have an entity. Shoreline handles the entire process — procurement, delivery, maintenance, and offboarding returns — so your team is set up and productive from day one.
Setup fee: $100 one-time per employee — covers administration, sourcing, procurement, and shipping.
| Monthly Plan | What's Included |
|---|---|
| $25/month | Equipment procurement, delivery, returns, and replacement coordination |
| $40/month | Everything above, plus full coverage for accidental damage, theft, and loss — seamless replacements with minimal downtime |
Equipment costs (laptops, monitors, peripherals) are billed separately at cost. Shoreline does not mark up hardware.
Procurement — We source and purchase equipment from local Canadian vendors based on your specifications (laptop model, monitor size, peripherals, budget).
Delivery — Direct shipping to your employee's home address in Canada. Most orders are delivered within 5–7 business days.
Replacements — If something breaks or needs upgrading, we coordinate the replacement and ship directly to the employee. On the $40/month plan, accidental damage, theft, and loss are fully covered.
Offboarding — When an employee leaves, Shoreline manages the equipment return — we coordinate pickup or drop-off and confirm receipt. No chasing down laptops from another country.
If you're a US company hiring in Canada, buying and shipping equipment cross-border adds friction, cost, and delay to every new hire. Import duties, currency conversion, warranty coverage, and return logistics all become your problem.
Shoreline eliminates all of that. Equipment is sourced locally, delivered locally, and serviced locally — and it's all managed through the same account you already use for payroll and benefits.
